A small static site with a deliberately small data footprint.
KordMap does not require an account. Its contribution builder creates files locally, and optional audience measurement is blocked unless it is configured and you allow it.
Information KordMap does not collect directly
The launch version has no registration, login, advertising tracker, payment form, comment system or server-side contribution endpoint. KordMap does not intentionally collect your name, email address, in-game identity or form entries.
Local contribution files
The form on the Contribute page runs in your browser. Selecting the download button turns the visible fields into a JSON file and saves it through your browser’s normal download flow. The page does not upload that file, email it or store a copy for KordMap.
Your browser may retain ordinary form state temporarily, depending on its own settings. Refresh or close the page to clear the visible form, and delete the downloaded file yourself if you no longer want it.
Cloudflare Pages hosting
KordMap is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. To deliver and protect requests, Cloudflare may process technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent and security signals under its own systems and policies. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for details.
KordMap’s source code does not add the separate Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon. This is distinct from the request and security processing Cloudflare performs as the hosting platform.
Optional Google Analytics
This build includes optional Google Analytics 4. It is used to understand which pages are visited, how visitors arrive and which parts of the guide are useful. Depending on the Web data stream’s Enhanced Measurement settings, interactions such as scrolling and outbound-link clicks may also be measured.
The Google tag does not load and no Analytics data is sent until you select Allow analytics. If you decline, it stays blocked. If you allow it, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled, and advertising consent remains denied.
Your analytics choice
When optional Analytics is available, your selection is stored only in this browser under kordmap.analytics-consent.v1. The preference value is not an identifier and is not sent to KordMap. Allowing Analytics lets Google set its own measurement cookies; declining does not.
Google processing
When Analytics is configured and allowed, Google processes Analytics data under its applicable terms and privacy safeguards. Read Google’s Analytics privacy and data safeguards and Privacy Policy.
External links
Map reports and the source register link to third-party websites. Those services receive your request when you choose to open them and operate under their own privacy practices. KordMap does not control their content, logging or cookies.
Future contribution channels
A future review channel may let you voluntarily send a downloaded report. Before such a channel opens, KordMap will identify what information it receives, why it is needed and how to request deletion or correction. The current offline builder is not that channel.
Changes to this notice
The effective date above will change when this notice is materially revised. Continued use after an update means the current notice applies to later visits; it does not retroactively authorize collection that did not occur.
